We use this grammar tense to talk about the actions that we started in the past but we continue doing it at the moment.

  • Personal Pronoun - Have/Has - Been - Verb (Ing) - Complement

You use the P. Perfect continuous when the action just finished and you can see it.

  • I have been waiting for my uber for a long time.

  • Marta has been playing with the dog for 1 hour.

  • Rob, Victoria and Mike have been eating. They are full!

  • She is sleepy. Katherine has been working all the night.

  • They have been cleaning the house during the last hour.
