Repeated Patterns Everywhere
Repeated patterns can be seen in math, nature, art, and so many other places.
Repeated patterns can be seen and heard in music, too.
Can you think of some other places or times where you've encountered repeated patterns?
10
Listen for the repeated pattern.
"I'm Motivated" had a rhythmic repeated pattern in it.
Can you hear it in this clip?

Let's Try It
Play the ostinato you just learned with the song.
Get ready to create your own four beat ostinato.

Your Turn to Create
It needs to equal four beats.
You may use a combination of quarter notes (ta), quarter rests (shh), eighth note pairs (ti-ti), and even half notes (to-e). It must be a combination that equals FOUR.
