Flowers

• Flowers are usually the most colorful part of the plant.

• Some flowers are not colorful and do not have any smell.

• All flowers have pollen. Pollen needs to travel from one plant to another.

• Wind carries pollen.

• Do you know how worker bee carries pollen?

• Bees are insect. An insect has 6 legs.

• When a bee lands on a flower, pollen from the flower sticks to the hair on its legs .

• Without bees we would have no apples, peaches or other fruits.
