This lesson highlights the use of affixes in getting the meaning of words. Affixes, as morphological items, are classifed into two: prefixes and affixes. These classifications are helpful in determining meanings easily. You are expected to demonstrate understanding of the features of affixes (prefixes and suffixes); and determine the meaning of words by understanding its prefixes and suffixes.
