lets look at Verbs. A verb is a word which expresses action or being. A linking verb connect the subject to a noun or adjective in the predicate.

Example of Linking Verbs

Action Verb

An action verb shows us a action of a sentence.

example: run, hop, skip, sleep ,jump,

Tell if the underline is a linking verb or action verb.
