BE + GOING TO

be + going to is used to talk about predictions based on present evidence, and intentions.

Understand "be" as

AM; ARE; IS.

"Careful! You're going to fall." (present evidence)

"I'm going to go out tonight." (intention)

I'm going to do my master’s degree next year. (intention)

Will is also used to express offers, promises, and momentaneous decisions.

To form negatives, add "not" after will or use the contraction "won’t".

For questions, place will before the subject.

To make short answers, use "yes" or "no", and the appropriate subject followed by "will" or "won’t".
