Both characters are inquisitive and meet an animal with human-like characteristics in their land. Alice falls down the rabbit-hole and eats food in the imaginary land. Lucy goes through the wardrobe, meets Mr. Tumnus, and has tea and food at Mr. Tumnus’ home. Both Alice and Lucy are intrigued with the imaginary land that they find themselves in and are interested in learning more about it.
