Roots

Roots collect the water and minerals so the flower can stay alive. If it didn't do that the flower would die.

Stem

The stem sucks up all the water and minerals like a straw.

Leafs

Leaves make all of the food that the flower needs to survive. The food is called glucose.

Petals

Petals are the pretty things on the outside of the flower. Petals attract bees so they are pollinated.

Seeds

When wind hits the flower the seeds scatter around and make new flowers.
