LT: I can identify a conclusion sentence that sums up a paragraph. I can correctly organize the parts of a paragraph.

Conclusion Sentences:

A conclusion sentences comes at the end of a paragraph and "wraps up" or "brings closure" to the paragraph.

Strong Conclusion Sentence: Mining was a dangerous job that presented many risks to people on the job.

Poor Conclusion Sentence: That's all you need to know about mining.
