PRESENT PERFECT

  • Subject + have/has + past participle + complement.

       I                     have          done          my homework.

  • Subject    + have/has + NOT +   past participle    +  complement She hasn't done her homework.

  • Have/Has + Subject + past participle + complement?

    A: Yes, I have./ No, I haven’t.

JUST

  • "JUST" goes after the first verb

  • Just is used with present perfect to emphasize that something happened very recently.

  • I HAVE JUST TAKEN MY PILLS.

ALREADY

  • "ALREADY" is used to talk about something that has happened earlier than expected.

  • It usually goes just after the first verb, or at the end of the sentence for emphasis.

  • I have already eaten breakfast.

  • I have eaten breakfast already.

  • We use "YET" to ask if something we expect has happened, or to say that it hasn't (it is used in questions or negative senteces).

  • YET usually goes at the end of a sentence or clause.

  • I haven't finished chapter 4 yet.
