Medicine and Law are two of the most desirable courses at university.

Brazilian students go straight from high school to universities. They can't afford a gap year.

There are 4 years of primary school, 4 years of secondary school and 3 years of high school in Brazil.

Most students in Brazil attend private universities. 

Unfortunately, the Brazilian government does not invest much in education.

Teachers don't get paid enough and their profession is usually not recognized.

Going to private schools does not guarantee good education.

I went to a public school and worked very hard to enter a public university.

Recent graduates find it difficult to find a job in their fields.

The school system in Brazil is very complex.
