So let's begin with the second question. How do I form it? we met this since form three. So check the boxes which apply.

1

Begin with the "yo" form of the verb

2

Begin with the infinitive

3

Drop the "o"

4

Drop the "ar, ir, er"

5

Add opposite endings: a,as, a, amos, an/ e, es, e, emos, en

Very good. We start with the "yo" form of the verb in Spanish

  • We drop the "o"

  • For "ar" verbs we now add: e, es, e, emos, en. For "er" and "ir" verbs we now add: a, as, a, amos, an.

  • So Miro: mire, mires etc. Como: coma, comas etc.

The Subjunctive mood is used when there are two(2) clauses and the subject of the verb in the second clause is different from the subject in the main clause. They are usually joined by "que".

  • Yo quiero(main clause) que Tu visites(second clause)
