Follow the Method

• Identify the given and known

• identify the unknown or solve for.

• Set up your equation by:

• writing your given first

• writing the multiplication sign next

• then writing the conversion factor BUT place your units first and then the numbers after

• solve your problem by multiplying straight across top and then bottom. Divide only if needed to finish the problem. Note number of significant digits. Use Sci Notation if needed.
