we will be step by step talking about what makes a good story then we will have you do your own SHORT story!

Settings

you will want to make the reader feel like they are with you. use strong but gentle words like damp breeze or the wind was cold as ice. those phrases will just make a reader understand how you feel and they feel like there right beside you. just 3 phrases can make a whole story better!

ok the next slide will be your turn! think of a SHORT story and put at least 4 phrases in the story. The next slide will not be graded i just want to see if YOU are ready to move on or if we need to work on phrases!

here is some phrases; the wind was cold as ice, the wind blew across my face like a kid running in a field, and lots more. you always can look up phrases like if you can't remeber ice cold look up phrases with ice cold water. the wind was cold as ice should come up.
