Let's learn some terms discussed at the video:

  • ploughing - turning over the uppermost soil.

  • deforestation - he removal of a forest from land which is then converted to non forest use.

  • monocropping - the agriculture practice of growing a single crop year after year on the same land.

  • carbon dioxide - Carbon dioxide (CO2) is an important heat-trapping (greenhouse) gas.

  • grazing - the feeding on growing grass and pasturage, as do cattle, sheep, etc.
