Energy is a tough thing to find. We cannot touch it, but we can see what it does to other objects. We know light is energy because it has the ability to move or change objects.

Light

Take a look at this room. Without the light energy from the light bulb, Cyrus cannot see a thing. When the light is on, the light's energy lets us see everything in the room. 

Sun

Behold the awesome power of the sun! The sun is the most powerful source of light in our solar system. It is a star that emits its own light. Without it, there would be no life on Earth.

Stars

These stars, like the sun, emit their own light energy too. Some of these stars may actually be brighter than our sun, but they are so far away that they seem like twinkling specs in the night sky.

Light comes from many different sources.
