Would:

is used to ask the question. It is followed by the base form of the verb (it does NOT have the infinitive: "to").


Example: Would you go to the movies with me?

is used to make a suggestion. It is followed by the infinitive "to" then the base form of the verb.


Example: Would you like to play on my volleyball team!?
