Infinitive form of a verb Vs Conjugated verbs

A verb that states an action without being used or changed to agree with a subject is called the infinitive for of a verb. For example: I like to sing. This sentence simply states that that's what I like to do, but I am not doing the action of singing. simply stating the action of singing. There is no subject (persons, place or thing) singing. When the verb is used to state that someone or something is doing the action, it is called conjugated: I sing. Mary sings.
