Action Verbs

• A verb is the main word in the predicate of a sentence.

• I ran two miles today.

• An action verb tells what the subject is doing or what the subject did.

• I love eating in the kitchen.

• I ate in the kitchen yesterday.

Action Verbs

• An action verb also tells about an action that you cannot see.

• I wonder when the COVID 19 Pandemic will end?

• I want sprinkles on my icecream

• I wish i had a million dollars
