Przysłówki sposobu odpowiadają na pytania: how? - jak? w jaki sposób?

Znacząco wzbogacają wypowiedź. Zobaczmy przykłady:

• She plays the guitar.

• She plays the guitar extremely well.

Przysłówek jest słowem, które mówi nam coś więcej o użytym czasowniku. Opisuje, jak dana czynność jest wykonywana:

• He works hard. On pracuje ciężko

• He spoke angrily.

Przysłówki sposobu zwykle tworzymy od przymiotnika dodając końcówkę LY

• bad > badly

• quiet > quietly

• sudden > suddenly
