Proverbs are old sayings or expressions that give advice.

• Provides are based on cultural knowledge, meaning if you are not from that culture the proverb may not make sense i.e. "Double Edged Blade" or "The grass is always greener on the other side"

• If spend a lot of your time practicing you will get better

• You may accidentally say something mean or hurtful, think about how your words may impact others
