Information about a "Horse Farm"

A Horse Farm is an area of land were horses are raised and trained.

Competent people work at the farm and take care of the horses.

They clean them, give them clean water to drink and food to eat.  

People visit the farm to watch, feed and ride the horses.

 

Some facts about horses:

Horses sleep standing up.

They sleep laying down too,

but only for short time.

They sleep about 3 hours a day.

Horses were originally wild animals.

They live and travel in groups.

More facts about horses:

Male horses have more teeth than female horses.

Another fact:

Horses have the largest eyes of any land mammal. 

"Hakramem Horse Farm"

Every weekend we go to "Hakramem Horse Farm". The farm is located on Carmel Mountain. There are 42 horses at the farm.

Many people and families come to the farm at the weekends to enjoy riding and feeding the horses. The horses enjoy being with little children, too.

The Horse & I

I started visiting the farm since I was three years old. I learned how to ride horses. My favorite horse is "Remas". It's golden horse with big, black eyes. Being at the farm made me more responsible person.

My first visit to the farm was when I was a little child. Today I am eleven years old and I stell go there every weekend. I love being with horses and help in taking care of them. It makes me feel alive.
