Reported Speech

Lo usamos para contarle a alguien lo que otra persona nos dijo.

Por ejemplo:

En clase la maestra dijo: "The exam will be next week." (Quoted speech)

Para decirle a un compañero que no fue ese día le diríamos algo como: The teacher said that the exam would be next week. (Reported Speech)

Para cambiar una frase a "reported speech" necesitamos:

-Usar told or said

-Cambiar los tiempos verbales.

Cambiar los pronombres.

Told or said?

Usa told para mencionar a la persona que escuchó el mensaje.

Usa said para omitir a la persona que escuchó el mensaje.
