The Sun is the centre of our solar system. It is a star and all the planets go around it.

  • Earth is the planet we live on.

  • Mercury is the planet closest to the Sun and the smallest planet. Mercury is very hot.

  • Venus is the hottest planet.

  • Saturn, Uranus and Neptune are the coldest planets.

  • Neptune is the farthest planet from the Sun.

  • Saturn, Uranus and Neptune are very big, but Jupiter is the biggest planet of all.
