Surat Al Lail

Revealed in Makkah. This Surat discusses the actions of a person and the results.

Ayat 1-2

• The cycle of day and night is Allah’s infinite power which also affects us.

Ayat 3

• Another absolute power that belongs to Allah SWT is the creation of male and female.

Ayat 4

• Allah SWT gives humans a mind and a free will to choose.

• The ultimate result will be on which path we choose.

Ayat 5-7

• People who give generously, fear Allah SWT, do their duties and do best has a results.

• As a result, Allah SWT makes their life easy and the hereafter more satisfying.

Ayat 8-11

• People who are selfish Allah will make their lives difficult in this world, and in the hereafter

• Allah SWT gives us clear guidance towards the right path

Ayat 14-16

• Allah SWT warns people about a flaming fire that awaits for those who turned away from the message.

Ayat 17-18

• The richest people who gives their wealth for the cause of Allah SWT purify themselves.

Ayat 19-21

• The richest people are the only ones who can be rewarded
