Mario Characters

Now that you know Mario's history, lets go over the characters.

Mario

Mario is the main character here. As he's also the mascot of Nintendo, he has a brother named Luigi, an enemy named Bowser, and other helpful friends that help him along the way. You can tell if you're Mario when you're playing as a character with a red shirt and hat, and blue jeans. Mario's hat should also have an "M" on it.

Luigi

Luigi is another main character, although he mostly is player 2. As of being Mario's brother, his enemy is also Bowser, and yoshi's will help him too. You know when you're playing as Luigi when you're playing as a character who wears a green shirt and hat, and has blue jeans too, but they're darker than Mario's. Luigi's hat will also have a "L" on it.

Waluigi

Have you heard of him before? If you haven't, Waluigi is quite skinny, and he's an evil version of Luigi. You don't get to play as Waluigi much, but if you do, you'll absolutely know when you're playing as a skinny man who wears a purple shirt, hat, and jeans. Waluigi's hat will also have an upside-down "L" on his.

Yoshi

Yoshi is one of Mario's and Luigi's helpful friends. He comes in many different colors. Green is his main color, but he also comes in blue, red, yellow, light blue, black, and more! Purple is the rarest Yoshi. You know you're playing with Yoshi when someone is riding on him, and he sticks his tongue out to catch is enemies.

Toad

Like Yoshi, Toad also comes in different colors, but the real Toad has a white hat with red spots, and a blue vest. The Toad colors are red, blue, green, yellow, and purple.

Wario

Wario is, you guessed it! An evil version of Mario. Wario first appeared in the year 1992 when Super Mario Land 2 came out. Like Waluigi, Wario isn't seen in a lot of games, but you know when you're playing as him when you're playing with someone fat who's wearing a yellow shirt a hat with purple jeans. Wario's hat also has a "W" on it.

Princess Daisy

Princess Daisy is not the main princess, but she's the second main princess. Daisy's not seen that much either, but when you think you see her, make sure she has a yellow and orange dress with a crown on her head, and long brown hair.

Princess Peach

Princess Peach is in fact the main princess. Mario's always out to save her from the evil Bowser. Peach appears in almost every Mario game. She's even playable in some games like Super Mario 3D World. Since everyone knows her, we don't need to describe her.

Princess Rosalina

Princess Rosalina is the one with the light blue dress, and long blonde hair. She has a sidekick with an unknown name, but over all, there's nothing too much about Rosalina.

Bowser

The last character we'll be paying attention to is Mario's enemy, Bowser. Bowser also appears in almost every Mario game. We can all agree that Bowser is the greatest villain with his yellow skin, red hair, and a green shell with spikes. He also has rock bands over his wrist, armpits, and neck.
