What is measurement?

Measurement is finding a number that shows the size or amount of something.

We can measure: length, area, volume, mass, time and temperature and many other things.

We can measure by; yard, inches, tablespoon, cup, pint, quart, scale, gallon, ounce, pounds, etc.

Non standard measurement, estimated. Handspan, cubit and fathom.

Length is the size of a straight line, distance or straight edge on an object. A ruler is used to measure length.
