Sentence Word Order

The English word order goes like... (subject-verb-object)

The Korean word order goes like... (subject-object-VERB)

For example: I - cake - love


The verb ALWAYS comes at the end!!


*Also don't forget the adjective (if theres no verb then the adjective goes at the end instead)

Particles (~는/은 and ~를/을)

~는/은 is used to mark the subject


~를/을 is used to mark the object


Rules:

If it ends in a consonant, use 은 for subject and 을 for object

If it ends in a vowel, use 는 for subject and 를 for object
