Norway Location

  • Located in northern Europe known as the region as Scandinavia

  • Borders Sweden to the east, Finland to far north, and even a small sliver of Russia too.

  • North sea is to the south, Arctic circle to the northern part of Norway, And most of it being locates in the Artic ocean

Bokmål and Nynorsk

  • According to https://www.skapago.eu/ "Ivar Aasen, travelled throughout the country and compiled a dictionary and grammar of the Norwegian language. From that, Norway got a completely new written version of its language, called “landsmål” (country language) and later “nynorsk” (New Norwegian)."

  • The most common is Bokmål

  • It is a Germanic language derived from Old Norse.
