In German, reflexive verbs are usually identified by the reflexive pronoun sich.
sich means oneself in English and will come before the infinitive verb

When using reflexive verbs...
the verb is always conjugated to the subject pronoun

Dative reflexives
The reflexive pronoun appears in the dative case when it functions as a direct object.
ich- mir
du - dir
Ex. I comb my hair (Ich kämme mir die Haare).
All the other pronouns stay the same.
