Character and Characterization
Character traits are not typically emotions. They are the things about your personality that are true for a long period of time. For example, you are kind, you are generous, you are thoughtful, you are shy.
Character Traits CAN BE emotions if they are lasting parts of your personality. For example, if you are always angry, if you are always happy, if you are always sad. Though it is best to express these things are traits. Someone who is always angry could be said to be mean or hot-headed.
