FORM & FAM/Numbers

We will be learning about FORMAL and FAMILIAR terms.

Open Ended

In every complete sentence, the subject is the person or thing that performs an action or is being described. This is often a noun, but a personal subject pronoun (e.g. "I", "you", or "he") can replace that noun. In both English and French, pronouns have different forms based on what they replace.

Terms

First, while there are exceptions, the basic difference between the familiar and the formal pronouns is that the former is typically used for friends and family members, while the formal is for use in other situations.

Informal terms

There are also informal ways to say/pronounce things. The video I provide for today's slide will explain more.
