Development

In 2003, Michael Resnick decided to create the Scratch development team, the team based around programmed an easy-to-learn engine for learning to code, they used a language called 'Squeak' to code Scratch itself.

The Release

Scratch was finally released in 2007 with many flaws and bugs at first which were eventually fixed. Their team was made out of the MIT team.
