Translation is moving the shape, and it says the same size and direction.
At GCSE a vector is used to describe how far the shape is moving. Write this down:
The top number describes how many spaces along (positive for RIGHT negative for LEFT) and the bottom number describes how many to move up(positive) or down(negative.
