A smooth polished surface like that of a mirror is very good at reflecting light.

When you see your face in a mirror you are seeing light from your face reflecting off the mirror.

We call this reflection of your face an image.

What to do.

a). Look at your image in one of the mirrors. Is your image exactly the same as you?

b). Hold up your left hand . How does this show in the mirror image?

c). Write a message on a piece of paper. Hold it up to the mirror. How is the mirror image different?
