  • Think large works of literature, writing, or art

  • You cannot "italicize" when hand writing something, only underline

  • Named ships (USS Alabama), planes (Airforce One), dirigibles (Goodyear Blimp) are also underlined/italicized

  • Large works include names of newspapers, magazines, TV/Radio programs, etc.

  • Use for smaller works or literature, writing, etc.

  • Smaller works include episodes, chapters, articles, TV/Radio episodes

  • Quotations are used when directly citing what someone actually said (conversation) or write
