Making sentences.

Sentences need:

- a subject (person, place, thing, name, pronoun)

- a conjugated verb

- and a predicate (completes the sentence)

Subjects

Subjects usually start the sentence (but not always).


Subjects are usually found before the verb.


The subject dictates the verb ending or how the verb is conjugated.

For example: aimer - tu aimes, nous aimons
