Instructions
Today we are going to spiral review through some of the topics we have learned this year.
Look through each slide and use this information or your math notebook to answer each question to the best of your ability.
3
Decimal Operations
Addition/Subtraction: Make sure to line up the decimals!!!!
Multiplying: Count how many numbers are behind the decimal point in both numbers to place your decimal!
Dividing: If your divisor has a decimal, you must move the decimal point in BOTH the dividend & divisor before dividing!
4
Multiple Choice
When you move the decimal in the divisor, what happens in the dividend?
You raise the decimal straight up
Nothing
You put a zero in the front
The decimal moves the same amount in the dividend that it moved in the divisor.

11
Least Common Multiple (LCM)
Where you try to find the smallest multiple they have in common!
This is usually found by skip-counting until they find a match!
12
Greatest Common Factor (GCF)
Where you try to find the largest/greatest number that divides evenly into both numbers
Can be found by listing the different factors.

You can only combine terms with the SAME VARIABLE!!
Variable: a letter that represents a number
Constant: a number by itself
Coefficient: a number multiplied by a letter (example: 6y)
21
Multiple Choice
Simplify by combining like terms:
5a + 2b - 3a + 4
8a + 2b + 4
2a + 2b + 4

24
Solving Equations & Inequalities
Use the inverse operation to find the answer to the equation or inequality.
The same is for inequalities!!
Example: 5y > 15
y > 3
25
Multiple Choice
Solve:
45p > 315
p > 270
p < 270
p > 7
p < 7

x = -6
x = 23
x = 5
28
Graphing Inequalities
Close Circle: ≥ or ≤
Open Circle: > or <
29
Multiple Choice
What inequality does the number line graph represent?
x > -4
x > 4
x < 4
x ≤ -1
30
