You (singular) heard lots of noises

You (plural) heard huge noises

We were listening to loud noises

A quick note on PRONOUNS. For 'you (plural)' Latin uses 'VOS' and for 'we' it uses 'NOS'... BUT

  • We don't actually need them

  • vos pugnabatis

  • The '-tis' ending ALONE tells us that 'you (plural)' were fighting
