You need to read the problem carefully so you can determine what is being asked. In the top problem the ratio of red to green is 1:2 or 1/2. The ratio of green to red would be 2:1 or 2/1.

In the bottom problem the ratio of red to greenis 1:3. The ratio of green to red is 3:1
