A network is 2 or more computers connected together which can communicate

There are 2 types of network:


- Local Area Network (LAN): A network setup over a small geographical area. e.g School or home


- Wide Area Network (WAN): A network setup over a large geographical location, using third party connections. e.g National business or University

- Star: All devices are connected via a central hub or switch


- Mesh: All the devices are connected together using multiple connections per device.
