• Dynamics are how loud or soft music is or the volume of the music.

• Articulations are how the music is spoken/ these are always at the top or bottom of a note head, never on the sides.

• Tempo is the speed of music. This is usually located at the beginning of a piece either numerically or using italian terms (andante, allegro, presto, etc)

• These are the main three music symbols that we discussed this quarter.
