Suffixes
A suffix is a letter or group of letters added to the end of a word to form a new word. the meaning of the new word is usually different from that of the original word.

Examples:
a. Socrates was a famous philosopher and thinker.
b. John can run faster than any boy in the school.
c. Many Indians have died fighting for the freedom of their country.
d. Seeing the cheerful faces of the children in the morning made the teacher happy.
e. The kingdom of the great king was divided into smaller regions, each ruled by a governor.
f. The sky is clouder and it promises to be a bright and sunny day.
