Opinion Marking-Signals

The lesson will be focusing on the word signals that we use in expressing opinions. In the discussion part, different types of Opinion-Marking Signals are explained and there are example sentences for each. The activities are given to practice and learn how to use the different opinion-marking signals with topics provided as your guide. 

OPINION

• it is defined as a belief or judgement of a person to an issue, idea or situation. 

OPINION-MARKING SIGNALS

• are usually found in the first part of sentence expressing a personal point of view with own perspective and style that talks about a situation, idea, person, event or topic.
