How can I use my research to create an opinion essay?

People argue that going to live on mars is a possibility in the future. Do you agree or disagree? Imagine that you have been asked to answer this question in an opinion essay. One of your guiding questions is: What challenges are involved in making a home on the planet Mars? Read and take notes from at least two sources to help you answer this question. List the sources of your information.

Topic: I agree that people can live on Mars

• Reason 1: Mars can sustain life

• Reason 2: Mars is similar to Earth

Mars is the planet to be, so much so that people might even live there someday!

• One reason people could live on Mars is that it can sustain life.

• Another reason people could liv on mars is that it is like the second Earth!

• You may think people could not be on Mars, but you could be wrong. I think they for sure can!

Wouldn't it be great to live on a whole different planet?

• Mars is definitely a planet with the potential to sustain life.

• If you want to go somewhere that's just like Earth, but another world, choose Mars!

• Imagine a world where people live in an entire different world, that could be Mars! Just wait and see.
