  • Evolved over a long period of time in India and has no founder, no single book of faith, and no single source of authority (such as Jesus)

  • Hinduism is polytheistic with the Brahma being the ultimate God

  • Hindu religion is a matter of practice rather than of beliefs.

  • Behind Hindu practice is the belief that every soul is trapped in a cycle of birth-death-rebirth (reincarnation). Every Hindu wants to escape from this cycle.
