What is an ecosystem?

An ecosystem includes all the living things and non-living things elements of a physical environment:

- plants

- animals

- fungi

- bacteria

- other microorganisms

What is an ecosystem?

The non-living things elements include soil, water, air and climate conditions.

Examples of living things are:

• water, soil, fungi

• animals, bacteria, microorganisms

• plants, animals, water

In an ecosystem, we find individual organisms of different species.

- The place where an organisms lives or grows is its habitat.

- All the individual organisms of the same species form a population.

- Different population can interact and form a community.
