  • Here is an example of the lesson

  • Maya collects stamps She has 20 stamps in her collection 4/5 of the stamp has been canceled how many of the stamps in Maya has collection have been cancelled

  • Since you want to find 4/5 of the stamps you should arrange them into equal groups or any easy way is to do it standard version

  • 4/5 of 20 is ______, or 4/5 × 20 = ______

  • 4/5 ×20 = 16

Lesson 2

  • example what we learned in the last lesson was pretty simple well we're just going to take one step forward for this one

  • for this lesson, we will be doing practically the same thing and we're going to be using 1/9 × 3

  • step 1 you take the 3 and make it into a fraction by putting a 1 under the 3 and make it 3/1

  • step 2 what is 9 × 1 = 9

  • step 3 3 x 1 = 3

  • answer 3/9

  • so that is the lesoon

Lesson 3

  • lesson 3 is the same exact lesson as lesson 2

  • here let me give you some examples what if we do 3 x 2/5

  • what is the first thing we're supposed to do? the first thing we're supposed to do is make 3 into a fraction that would be 3/1

  • the next time we're going to do is multiply the denominators what is 1 x 5 that is 5

  • that would be our denominator the next thing we're going to do it is multiply the numerators what is 3 x 2 that is 6

  • now when you put this fraction together you got an improper one 6/5 now you have to make it into a mixed number

  • and you all know how to do that cause you should have learned in 3rd grade
