We use the Present Continuous to talk about:
Activities at the moment of speaking
We are doing exercises right now.
Future plans and arrangements
What are you doing next weekend?

When it comes to something that is in progress in the present we use the following time expressions:
now, right now, at this moment, at the moment, at this time, at present
Julienne is watching a comedy movie in the living at the moment.

But if it is being used to refer to future plans/ arrangements or intentions, the time expressions are different:
tomorrow, today, tonight, this (week, month, weekend, year), next (week, month, weekend, year), in ( a second, a minute, an hour, a week, a month, a year, in the future)
Steve is having a party next Saturday.

Subject + BE + verb-ing
