Attendance

1. As per school policy, lateness and cutting will be enforced. After three lates or one cut, a

late/cut slip will be submitted to administration.

2. If you are absent you must make up ALL work.

3. You may log on to the Longwood School District home page and view my “Google Classroom” to see any

assignments/notes/announcements you may have missed if you are absent.

Materials

1. All students need to come to class prepared to work.

***Required materials needed for health class:

● a pen/pencil

● class notebook (1 subject is sufficient)

● Mask

● HIGHLY suggested: a pair of earbuds/headphones

These materials will be needed in class EVERYDAY!

Expectations

1. You are expected to remain in your seat, socially distanced at all times.

2. Masks MUST remain on at all times.

3. Be sure to have your own water bottles in the classroom as trips to the water fountain will not be permitted.

4. When the bell rings at the end of class, wait for your teacher to dismiss you by staggered rows.

5. Upon entering the classroom, you must go directly to your assigned seat.

6. During Distance Learning, you must log on to our Google Classroom & Meet at the start of your assigned class period for attendance.

*Reminder

As per Mr. DeWitt, absolutely no smart phones and/or apple watches are permitted for use

during the class period. They must be powered down and kept in your backpack. If these rules are not followed, they will be turned into Administration.

Phones can only be used when needed for the class lesson and your teacher informs you to take it out for the lesson of the day.

Grading Categories

Summative = 50%:

Unit assessments, and Scenario questions

Formative = 30%:

Do now, ASK questions, Closure questions Notes Assignments and Pear Deck assignments

Engagement = 20%

Attending google meets, Wednesday attendance, Google Form Surveys
